So you have registered your domain and are currently hosting it with a company other than Lusion Technologies. How do you go about transfering the domain from your current host to Lusion Technologies hosting? Read through the steps below to assist you in the hassle-free transfer:

Existing clients

If you already have an account with Lusion Technologies you can follow the steps below to transfer your domain to us:

• Go to http://www.lusion.co.za and click on the Client Login tab at the top right of the homepage
• Login to the Billing Client Area using your username and password
• In the Billing Client Area click on the Service Signup tab
• If you want to tranfer the domain or if you already have a hosting account that you want to link the domain to follow the steps below:
  • In the Choose service window select Domain Registration from the Services drop box and click continue
  • Input the domain name you want to transfer and select the Transfer my existing domain on my behalf option and click continue
  • In the Domain registration settings window ensure that your Whois details are correct and that all fields are filled in.
  • Now click continue to transfer the domain to us.
  • Your signup has now been completed and an invoice has been sent to the email address you provided. Once this invoice has been paid you will be sent a welcome email with all the details to get started with your account.
• If you want to transfer the domain and signup for a hosting account follow the steps below:
  • In the Choose service window select Website hosting from the Services dropbox and click continue
  • Input the domain name you want to transfer and select the Transfer my existing domain on my behalf option and click continue
  • In the Pick Package window select the hosting account you want to sign up for.
  • Now click continue to transfer the domain to us and signup up for website hosting.
  • Your signup has now been completed and an invoice has been sent to the email address you provided. Once this invoice has been paid you will be sent a welcome email with all the details to get started with your account.

New clients

If you do not have an account with Lusion Technologies you can follow the steps below to register and account and tranfer your domain to us:

• Go to http://www.lusion.co.za and click on the Sign up tab at the top right of the homepage
• In the New Customer window enter you Name, Contact number and the currency you wish to pay and get billed in
• Then click the Create New Account button to signup.
• If you want to tranfer the domain or if you already have a hosting account that you want to link the domain to follow the steps below:
  • In the Choose service window select Domain Registration from the Services drop box and click continue
  • Input the domain name you want to transfer and select the Transfer my existing domain on my behalf option and click continue
  • In the Domain registration settings window ensure that your Whois details are correct and that all fields are filled in.

Domain Transfer FAQ

Before you transfer your domain remember to inform your current host of your intention to transfer and request that they accept the transfer ticket. Transfer requests will come from lusion@snapbill.com and reseller transfer requests will come from yourresellerusername@snapbill.com.
