How do external services work in SnapBill?

What are external services?

SnapBill allows you to sell services provided by selected companies under your brand. This allows you to increase your passive income with no additional risk. The reason there is absolutely zero risk is that, in addition to having fixed cost prices for each service, you are only expected to pay for services for which your clients have paid you. If your clients never pay you, you won't have to pay for the services - its that simple.

How does this affect invoices?

Invoices that contain lines related to external services will also keep track of the cost price of each line. You can view this by clicking the "Invoice Details" link while an invoice is selected in SnapBill. Once you mark an invoice as paid, this amount will be deducted from your account.

Cancelling invoices

When you cancel an invoice the cost price for the external services in the invoice will be charged to your account, just as if the invoice was marked as paid. The reason for this is that the client no longer has the amount outstanding in his account, but our external service providers still need to recouperate the service fees. If you wish to cancel the clients services, this must be done before cancelling the invoices. You will not be charged for services on an invoice that have been cancelled.
